So! I was upon my Facebook, as usual, and came across a complete idiot! Now. I have discussing politics with people, cause my views typically differ with practically everyone else in my area, but today I am pissed off like no FUCKING other.
So this guy I know posts stuff about AP testing and…
I actually support “assholeface”, whom I actually look up to and respect a lot. His comment about liberals was indeed one sided, and really snarky, but he brings up a valid point. Awesome took the easy way out: he took a class at a community college so he could have credit for college instead of taking an AP class. Because he took gov at a community college, he got a lower level of knowledge than what a 4 or a 5 on an AP test would have proven. “Assholeface”(whose name I think should be changed to Awesome-while-sometimes-confrontational) makes a good point though, because “Awesome”(whose name I think should be “Actually-very-smart-but-lacks-real-world-knowledge”) didn’t know the difference between The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. That’s a pretty huge lapse in both Historical and Governmental Knowledge. If “Actually-very-smart-but-lacks-real-world-knowledge” doesn’t even know the difference between the two most important documents in our government and history(and for that matter, governmental history), it’s pretty obvious he received lack-luster teaching at TCC. Either that, or he really just lacks knowledge altogether. I agree with Awesome-while-sometimes-confrontational that Actually-very-smart-but-lacks-real-world-knowledge made a poorer choice of taking government at TCC than if he took the AP class. He most likely would have learned more if he had taken Dr. Waters’ course.
My two cents: I will not have OP insulting my friend, the aforementioned Assholeface, behind his back, on the internet. I understand that OP may be venting, but if you really ACTUALLY cared about this, then you would’ve said it to his face/ to him on the internet.
And plus, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!! LOOK AT ALL OF THOSE FUCKING SPELLING AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS!! I felt like I was reading something composed by a sixth grader….
